One of few Thank You cards I am making for my mother in law to give to her nurses that are taking such good care of her in the hospital.
I picked my paper out of a scrap bin so I'm not sure exactly what it is but I believe it is a CTMH line. The flowers were made using the flower soft colors Summer, Spring and Lemon. Thank you sentiment was CTMH A Little Thank You Stamp set and I inked in Stampin' Ups Close to Cocoa.

Challenge #2 - Masculine Theme
Welcome to the DAT'S Designing Divas Challenge!
This challenge is to create a layout, card or altered item with a Masculine Theme.
We hope you can share your project with us by Monday May 14, 2012 at the DAT'S Designing Divas Blog.
Since my husbands birthday is coming up in May I knew right away that my masculine project was going to be his birthday card. Hopefully he doesn't learn the blog world between now and than....lol. I chose a fishing theme because my husband is an avid outdoors man and spends most of his spring and summer fishing in his boat or perched up on some rocks. When I came across this little fishing guy at DAT'S Scrapbooking I couldn't resist snatching him up along with some of his other gnomies.
I designed this 6 x 6 card using the following:
Paper
-Bazzill's Black and Sugar Cream Cardstock
-My Minds Eye Spooky Plaid & Candy Dots from the Mischevious Line
-Express it Blender Paper

-Kraftin' Kimmie's Hangin' with my Gnomies set.

March
Here is March. I don't wanna talk about it I don't want think about. It is done and that is all that matters at this point...lol
June
After the March page disaster lastnight I started June. Only took me way too many hours to complete but it is done and looking good. I used Perfection and Friendship paper from the Authentique's Genuine Collection, Echo Park's Yellow and Adventurer paper from the Boy's Life line. I embellished with Not Quite Navy and More Mustard grosgrain ribbon, Kaiser Craft rhinestones and denim self adhesives from Creative Imaginations. Now to start my second attempt at March.

September
This weekends goal is to get 3 months of my moms 2013 calander done. When I saw this line at DATS ideas started popping into my head and after playing around with the papers for a bit September fell into place. The paper line is Little Yellow Bicycle's Hello Fall which includes Sweater Weather, Delicious Autumn Text and Happy Fall. I embellished with My Minds Eye's Miss Caroline Howdy Doody Lovely pins and buttons and Stamping Up's 1/4 inch Bravo Burgandy Grosgrain Ribbon. I inked the edges with Stamping Up's Close to Cocoa ink and I punched leaves from the Delicious Autumn Text to add a little something to the page. One month down two more to go.

Happy Birthday Brooklyn
My niece Brooklyn turned 9 today. My inspiration for this card is her love of Teddy Bears and her favorite colors. Along with this card she finally gets the birthday present I've been taunting her with since January!!

Calandar page
When one of our scrapbooking gals has a baby several of us get together to create a scrapbook calandar book. Everyone picks a month and puts their talents to work to make a unique book for momma to paste pictures and write down milestones of wee ones first year. Since fathers day is in June and the Father of the handsome little boy this page is for loves Cars I couldn't resist. I used the Cars cricut cartridge and all solid papers. Yes that checkered "paper" is made by cutting 2inch black squares and pasting them 1 by 1. Totally worth it.
